She was predeceased by: her parents, Henrietta Banash and Stanley Banash; and her son Gary Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Gary Smoot; her daughter Kim Gasenica (Smoot); and her granddaughters, Kaitlin Smith (Gasenica), Alison and Miranda Gasenica.
