He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Oaks and Effie Oaks; his wife Mary T. Oaks; his children, Mary L. Adam and Daniel Oaks; his grandchildren, El Lena Louise Adam and Joshua James Oaks; and his siblings, Pauline Oaks, Olivera Hall, Donna Nicklin and Kenneth Oaks.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Oaks (Tracey) of Eden Utah, Steven Oaks Sr. of Yakima, John Oaks (Alana) of Selah, Mark Oaks (Tina) of Toppenish, James Oaks (Tami) of Grangeville and Jennifer Ford (Bryan) of Moxee; and his sister Lois Richards (Pete) of Oregon. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
