He was predeceased by: his wife Alicia Plazola Ruelas; his parents, Urbano Plazola Villanueva and Aurelia Tapia Estrada; and his siblings, Apolonio, Maria Engracia and Eva Plazola Tapia.
He is survived by: his children, Chuck Norris, Maria Plazola, Marta Plazola (Miguel Velasco), Ismael Plazola Jr. (Sherrisa Plazola) and Joaquin Plazola (Melissa Blanco); his grandchildren, Portia, Paige, Petra Plazola and Claribel Velasco; his pets, Louie, Canela and Teddy; and his siblings, Blas Plazola Tapia, Teresa, Lourdes and Virginia Plazola Tapia.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Brookside Funeral Home & Crematory - Moxee (500 Prospect Rd, Moxee, WA 98936). A rosary was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (201 N Iler St, Moxee, WA 98936). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Holy Rosary Cemetery.
