David W. Catey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David W. Catey (Moxee, Washington), who passed away on January 17, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, David shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid David farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Catey and Marguriete Catey; his in-laws, Jack and Shirley Birchard; and his brother Alan Catey.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Birchard; his children, Tom Catey (Karin) and Suzie; and his grandchildren, Kyle Catey (Courtney), KC Catey (Colten Ellson), Catey Sue Richardson (Landon Leaton), Corbin Richardson (Brook) and Ethan Holmes. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Brookside Funeral Home (500 Prospect Rd, Moxee, WA 98936).
