We are sad to announce that on September 13, 2020, at the age of 92, Shirlee Verge (Mount Vernon, Washington), born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirlee Verge to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ken Verge; her mother Hallie Martin; her aunt Nila; her uncle Norman Gilbert; and her sister-in-law Abby Martin.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kyle, Joey Verge, Kelsi Nishina, Cora Whitney, Emma Verge, Nathaniel, Lucas, Zachary Verge, Brandon DeCocq, Jackie DeCocq and Michelle Flynn; her brother Bill Martin; and her nieces and nephews, Kendal Novarra (Noel) and Jan Elchison (Brian).
Due to Covid 19, her service will be delayed until her family can safely travel across the country.
Any donations should be made to the uniquely kind-hearted and remarkable people at Hospice of the Northwest in Mount Vernon, WA who made Mom's final weeks a safe and peaceful journey.
