It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Oliver Ole Berentson of Mount Vernon, Washington, who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Berentson and Sanford Berentson; and his sisters, Pearl, Lorraine, Iola and Betty.
He is survived by: his former wife Joyce Gonderman; his children, Cheryl Felt (Chris) and Brian Berentson (Marlaine); his wife Evelyn Danforth; and his stepchildren, Diana Kurtz (Byron), Ron Moena, Connie Carpenter and Mark Moena. He is also survived by his wife and children, many grandchildren and great grandchildren (who knew him as Papa), nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Salem Lutheran Church (2529 N Laventure Rd, Mount Vernon, WA 98273).
