He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Williston and Bev Vanderhyde (Anne); his stepfather Frank Williston; his sisters, Ann Nelson and Laurie Bashour; and his brother-in-law George Irwin.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Vanderhyde (Irwin); his children, Lance Vanderhyde (Kelly), Rob Vanderhyde and Heather van der Gaag (Fred); his siblings, Carol Porter (David), Cindy Prince (Bill), Patti Leavitt and Selby; his sisters-in-law, Jean Irwin and Jane Irwin; and his great grandchildren, JaNae (Camron), Brandon (Emily), Zac (Nea), Brittney (Tom), Grace (Isaac), Faith, Riley, Savannah, Conner, Carli (Jerad), Brayden, Victor, Kyler, Orion and Jade. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
