He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Stewart and Hazel Stewart (Fender); his great grandchild Hunter Mayville; his siblings-in-law, Darlene Maxfield, Jim Cargile, Ted Ovenell, George and Jeanie Ovenell; and his parents-in-law, Ted and Mary Ovenell.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Anderson of Stanwood; his children, Mike (Robyn), Janet (Paul) and Kenny (Liz); his sister Sharron Cargile; his siblings-in-law, Marvin, Gayle Anderson and Jackie Ovenell; and his close friends, Ron and Alice Maxfield. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bethany Covenant Church (1318 S 18th St, Mount Vernon, WA 98274).
