He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sweeney (Shio) and Gloria Sweeney (Doug); and his brothers, Bob Sweeney and Terry Sweeney. He is survived by: his wife Laurie McNett; his half-sister Linda Borland; his sister-in-law Sue Sweeney; his nephews, Randy Sweeney (Merilee), Brian Sweeney (Rose) and Steven Sweeney (Shari); his stepsons, Jason Welty (Sara) and Craig Welty (Kamriell); his grandchildren, Kalen Welty, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Welty, Lila Welty and Jack Welty; and also, Kerry McNett and Gary Baxter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Skagit Golf & Country Club (16701 Country Club Dr, Burlington, WA 98233).
