It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Lee Swanson of Mount Vernon, Washington, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on November 15, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Swanson and Esther Swanson; his parents-in-law, Rudy and Alice Peterson; and his siblings-in-law, Gary and Gay Peterson.
He is survived by: his daughter Julie; his wife Carolyn Swanson; his son Eric Swanson (Leah); his grandchildren, Eli (Nikki), Rachel and Kaura (Shawn); his son Evan Swanson (Vicki); his granddaughters, Anna (Bret) and Mariah (Justin); his daughter Jenny Rose (Randy); his grandchildren, Ashley, McKendra, Trevor, Trey and Julie Henry (Tom); his great grandchildren, Erann and Amber; his sister Sandra Johnson (Jerry); his nieces and nephews, Heather Severson (Pat), Blake Johnson (Jen), Andy Peterson (Joie) and Chris Peterson; and also, Keone (Barb), Lani (Scot) and Tina (Jorge). He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations in Dennis's memory be made to Bethany Covenant Church in support of missions.
