She was predeceased by: her husband William Brown; her parents, Ralph Nelson and Martha Nelson; her sister Carole Wallace; and her son Eric Nelson Brown.

She is survived by: her daughter Laura Brown (David Burdekin); her granddaughter Stella Ralston (Matthew Ralston); and her great grandchild Matthias Nelson Stone.
