He is survived by: his children, Kara Caldwell and Cale Merkley (Sharon) of Spokane Valley, WA; his grandchildren, Karson Mitchell, Keaton Thompson (Landon), Xander, Jordan, Jaiden and Rylan Merkley; and his stepchildren, Cheryl Lalk (Jason) and Kevin Lalk. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
