It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mitchell Scott Thompson of Moses Lake, Washington, born in Van Nuys, California, who passed away on October 12, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Mitchell Scott may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mitchell Scott touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Thompson and Virginia Thompson (Clyde); and his brother Paul Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his brother Robert Thompson of Springfield, MO; and his children, Spencer of Bozeman, MT, Brendan (Amy) of Moses Lake, WA, Maryssa (Nick) of Bangor and Ryan (Stasia) of Spokane, WA. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Kayser's Chapel (831 S Pioneer Way, Moses Lake, WA 98837). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church (200 N Dale Rd, Moses Lake, WA 98837). A Mass will be held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of Fatima, Center (200 N Dale Rd, Moses Lake, WA 98837).
