He was predeceased by: his parents, Florentino Hernandez and Angela Hernandez; his brothers, Gerardo, Justino and Jesus; his son Horacio; and the mother of his children Maria Cristina Arroyo Bolaños.
He is survived by: his children, Claudia Hernandez of California and Luis Hernandez of Mexico; and his stepdaughter Karina Tamayo of Mattawa, WA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
