She was predeceased by: her parents, Remicio Medrano and Refuegio B Medrano (late Edward Combs); and her siblings, Emilio Medrano, Robert Medrano, Nora Alamos, Jenny Harless, Marty Guerrero, Junior Medrano, Lupe Medrano and Buffy.
She is survived by: her former husband Edward Combs; her husband John R Mitchell; her daughters, Sherrie Rodriguez (Jose) and Serena Achurra (Steve); her grandchildren, Ayla Avalos Ali (Anthony), Julian Rodriguez, Tony Rodriguez (Lucy), Juli Rodriguez Henry Owens and Taylor Achurra; and her great grandchildren, Amaya, Amelia, Avanie and Aniesa Avalos. She is also survived by her daughters and her grandkids and great grandchildren.
She always set the foundation of what hard work and dedication was truly about.
