He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Louise Fry and Silver Buell Valentine; and his siblings, Vernon, Lyle, Richard, Gerold, Roger, Harold, Fern Anensen, Ernestine Wolf, Eunice Colombo, Doris Foster, Neva Schmidt and Alice Duncan.
He is survived by: his former wife Lila Tomlin; his brother James (Janie); his sister-in-law Ruth Valentine; and his children, Clarence Valentine, Jr., Benjamin Valentine (Robyn), Anna Sullivan (Pat) and Lisa Shehee (Randall). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
