She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelis Jan Mieras and Geertruida Adriana Oerlemans; and her sisters, Cootje and Marie. She is survived by: her sister Jacoba (Cootje); her spouse Gerry Schott; her children, Saskia, Eric and Frank; and also, Ottawa and Seattle.
