He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Eric Miller; his parents, Gerald Kerns and Elizabeth Kerns (Betty); his siblings, Robert Kerns (Bob) and Theresa Harris (Kerns); his close friend Eric Miller; his children, Laura (Kerns), Bain (Gene Smith), Cynthia Kerns (Cindy) and Timothy Kerns (Tim); his granddaughters, Sarah (Bain) and Brianna Bain; and his great grandchildren, Zola Kjos and Haak Kjos.
