With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William R. Akers (Medical Lake, Washington), born in Seattle, Washington, who passed away on October 13, 2021 at the age of 98. He was predeceased by: his significant other Jeanne Sweeney Akers; and his son John Edward. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Davis (Earl), Eileen Kain (Michael), Phil (Monica), Jeannie Saccomanno (Rich), Sheila Warne (Ted) and Bill (Tesie). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
