He is survived by: his parents, Leonard Messing and Theresa Messing; his children, Dan Messing (Cheryl), Diane O'Brien (Peter), Mike Messing (Julie) and David Messing; and his siblings, Shirley Hoffman (John), Pat Heleski (Clarence), Calvin Messing (Sharon), Dale Messing (Diane), Bruce Messing (Jeanne) and Brad Messing (Julie). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
