He was predeceased by: his wife Patty Lou Benton Killian; and his parents, William Francis Killian and Frances Killian (Kohlmann). He is survived by: his siblings, Jimmy Killian, Frank, Joseph, William, Florence, Betty, Richard, Teresa, Marie and Barbara; and his children, Tabby Herald (Joe), Debbie Sievertson (Mark), Kim Mitchell (Ken), Chuck Jr. (Maria), Laurie Kampen (Gary) and Mary Popkins (Darren Sr.). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
