It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Elbert Mims of Marysville, Washington, who passed away on July 7, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Willie Mims, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Hattie B. Mims; his wife Rutha Mims; his children, Judy Lynn Mims (Mary) of Seattle, WA and Avery Dale Mims (Carol); his grandchildren, Ashleigh of Haymarket, VA, Cameron of Haymarket, VA, Robert of Haymarket, VA, Mercy Mims-Daniel and Darnell Emil Daniel of Seattle, WA; and his great grandchildren, Carter and Maya Ruth. He is also survived by great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins; his mother and father.
