Yuri Matsuzawa Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Yuri Matsuzawa of Lynnwood, Washington, who passed away on August 30, 2024 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Yuri Matsuzawa to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tojiro Kato and Riwa Kato; her husband Joe Matsuzawa; and her brothers, Ginzo Sato, Norio and Toshifumi Kato.
She is survived by: her children, Ken Matsuzawa (Chisato), Mick Matsuzawa (Patricia), June Matsuzawa Shkurhan (Sam) and Tom Matsuzawa (Stacy); her grandchildren, Kendra, Kent, Kara Matsuzawa, Katie, Evan Matsuzawa, Nina Yamada, Alison Shkurhan Myers, Sean Shkurhan, Michelle and Joey Matsuzawa; and her great grandchildren, Kellen, Avery Myers, Adelei Matsuzawa and Jayden Yamada.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Japanese Baptist Church (160 Broadway, Seattle, WA 98122).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Keiro Northwest or Japanese Baptist Church in Seattle can be made in her memory.
