He is survived by: his children, Matthew W. Newport (Miranda) and Brenda R. Sturgis (Matt); his grandchildren, Aaron Newport, Clayton Sturgis, Noah Dingman, Hannah, Ethan Sturgis, Rebekah Dellinger, Josiah and Elijah Rider; and his great grandchild Titus Dellinger.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Floral Hills Cemetery (10934 N Creek Dr, Mill Creek, WA 98036).
