He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Parsons; his sons, Jeffrie Gilstrap, Gregory Gilstrap and Michael Parsons; and his daughter-in-law Marrisa Parsons. He is also survived by five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and six siblings.
