Marie Tjoelker Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2024, at the age of 93, Marie Tjoelker (Lynden, Washington) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marie Tjoelker to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicolaas Honcoop and Cornelia Honcoop (Vander Horst); her husband Henry Tjoelker; and her siblings, Joe, Len, Maurice, Jim, Nick, Bill, Nelly, Toni and Louisa.
She is survived by: her children, Cora McMurry (Brian) of Olympia, Jim (Merri Lynn) of Everson, Ernie (Kimberley) of Ferndale, David (Kim) of Everson, Evelyn of Lynden and Steve (Kristine) of Everson; and her siblings-in-law, Roberta Honcoop (Nick), Wanda Thomsen (Maurice), Janie Martinson (Tjoelker), Ken Haveman (Louisa) and Bill Tjoelker. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Gillies Funeral Home & Cremation Services (202 Front St, Lynden, WA 98264). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Monumenta Cemetery (1980 Front St, Lynden, WA 98264). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Covenant Grace Reformed Church (1227 Loomis Trail Rd, Lynden, WA 98264).
