He was predeceased by: his parents, Klaas Zylstra and Neeltje Zylstra (Hibma); and his wife Margaret Zylstra (Smits). He is survived by: his children, Ken, Josephine Kobylk (Steven), Nancy Zylstra (Gerard Vorsteveld) and Kenneth Zylstra; his grandchildren, Bill Van De (Rebecca), Lindi Quesnel (Jed), Brian Van De (Kathleen) and Shelley Rot (Jason); and his great grandchildren, Daniella, Jacob, Juliette, Madelyn, Lyndsey, Eliza, Max, Shepard and Lucy.
