We are sad to announce that on September 13, 2024, at the age of 92, Elida (Maria) Castaneda (Lynden, Washington) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Enrique Ruiz and Francesca Ruiz; her husband Frank Castaneda; her siblings, Hank and Rebecca; and her children-in-law, Herbert Ryan and Brenda Castaneda.

She is survived by: her children, Frank Castaneda (Karen), Robert Castaneda (Patty), Yvonne Ryan, Sonja Wolf (Greg), Letizia Bryan (Chris) and Roe Castaneda (Melody); her grandchildren, Frank Jr. (April), Roberto (Mary), Christopher (Lisa), Gina (Chris), Travis (Donna), Miguel (Jennifer), Michelle (Martin), Michael (Lindsey), Mark (Elyse), Alexis (Kileigh), Alicia (Tanner), Joshua (Jennifer), Jonas, Jessica, Rollie (Bethany), Leah (Brent), Aaron (Andrea) and Patrick (Francia); her brother Heriberto Ruiz (Patricia); and her sister-in-law Joan Ruiz.
