He was predeceased by: his parents, Garrit Worst and Wilhelmina Worst (Wielenga); and his sister Cathy Oose. He is survived by: his children, Gary Worst (Haley), Darrel Worst and Julie Scheele (Herb); and his granddaughters, Emma Grace and Lydia Faith Worst.
