With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steven Mads Sandahl in Longview, Washington, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2025 at the age of 83. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Steven Mads had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Steven Mads may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Wilhelm Sandahl and Hannah Elizabeth Sandahl. He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie Marie Cox and Laura Sandahl; his daughter-in-law Laura Sandahl (Stephanie Marie Cox); his siblings, Keith Sandahl (Juliana) and Vanita Scholz (late Richard); and his stepchildren, Lee Biles (Tammy), Michael Biles (Jodie), Tammy Christensen (Sam) and Renee Richardson. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 110 E 1st St, Rainier, OR 97048.
