She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Gannels and Flora Gannels; her brother Ronald Gannels; her daughter Tamara Leandra Chambers; and her granddaughter Dana Alicia Dixon.
She is survived by: her children, Rhona Elliott, Jim Dixon Jr. and Julie Ann Trotter. She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren.
