He was predeceased by: his parents, Frans Laulainen and Ellen Laulainen (Hermans); his daughter Marlene Stewart; and his wife Eila Ojalehto. He is survived by: his children, Loren Laulainen (Ruth) of Longview, Yvonne Laulainen of Longview, Jane Hendrickson (Mark) of Longview, Mathew Laulainen (Joanie) of Longview, Judith Grangroth (Phillip) of Cathlamet, Gordon Laulainen (Linda) of Monroe, WA, Pauline Loukusa (Steven) of Bothell, WA, Raymond Laulainen (Brenda) of Palmer, Rdath Grangroth (Daniel) of Silt, Colo, Margaret Jurmu (Eric) of Buffalo, MN and Sarah Jurmu (Phillip) of Monticello, MN.; and his son-in-law David Stewart (Becky) of Plymouth, Minn.. He is also survived by 108 grandchildren; 394 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
