She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Wilson Bassett and Barbara May Mitchell; her grandmother May; her husband Allan; her children, Spencer (Joy), Marty (Teddi), Todd, Jerilynn (Stephanie) and Alison (Phil); her sister Dianne Davison; and her stepfather Quentin Mitchell. She was also cherished by 19 grandchildren.
She was a great example to her family, exemplifying many Christlike attributes of faith, love, charity, service, sacrifice, hope, gratitude and many others.
