He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Grocott and Madeline Grace Grocott (Archer); his sisters, Dawn James and Betty Wilson; and his daughter Laura (Floodeen).
He is survived by: his wife Mellicent Elaine Grocott (Becker); his sister Sandra Kure Shaw; his children, Beth (Milton), John (Cheri) and Jeff (Barbara); and his son-in-law Eric Floodeen. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests supporting Longview Community Church's scholarships for Christian ministries students, as Dave did.
