He is survived by: his wife Uiva Calkins; his children, Paul Calkins (Marilyn) of Fresno, Jeff Calkins of Tacoma and Heather Phillips of Longview; his grandson Sheldon Calkins of Salem, Ore.; his great grandchild Michael Calkins of Salem; and his brothers, John and Jessie.
