She was predeceased by: her brother Lloyd. She is survived by: her sister Mary Ann Napravnik of Seattle, WA; her children, Beckie Peterson (John) of Leavenworth, WA and Mark Miller (Jody) of Olympia, WA; and her grandchildren, Todd Miller, Scott Miller, Kyle Peterson, Eric Peterson and Brett Peterson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The eighth of nine children, Hilda's grounding and foundation came from the rock-solid traditions of a Volga German immigrant farming family. With her foundation built she adventured to Olympia WA.
