She is survived by: her mother Shirley Westby of Sheyenne, ND; her father-in-law Larry; her son Timothy Swenson (Nicole) of Olympia, WA; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Matthew and Joseph; her son Brent Swenson; her brothers, Steve Westby of Sheyenne and Neil Westby (Laura); her nieces and nephews, Mallory Westby of Bismarck and Erin (Paul Cochran) of Grand Forks, ND; her nephew Scott Westby of Moorhead, MN; her sister Paula (Mark Seiler) of New Rockford, ND; her nephew Derrick Seiler (Courtney); her brother Ross Westby (Kristi) of Phoenix, AZ; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Camden and Lennon; and also, Sutton, Willow, Jordan Westby (Ashley), Tate (Anna) of Minneapolis, MN, Keagan Westby of Phoenix, AZ., Elizabeth, Matthew and Joseph. She is also survived by many in-laws, cousins, nephews, and nieces.
She fought it valiantly, braving the hospitals alone for chemotherapy treatments while Larry was forced to wait in the car through the worst of the covid crisis.
