With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Olav Osterhus of Lakewood, Washington, who passed away on March 2, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Borgny, Erling, Torleef and Gunnar; his former wife Juanita Katherine Baker; his daughter Kathy Brown (Gary); and his grandson Thomas Rickey.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughters, Nita Giertz (Richard) and Deborah Dickinson (Rodney); his grandchildren, Daniel Richey (Heather), Richard Giertz (Kristen), Olav Giertz (Laura), Jason Barker, Katrina Barker and Serena Barker; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Andrew, Jessie, Jr. and Justin; his nephew Stein Osterhus (Elen Theresie); and his niece Anne-Sofie Osterhus. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, and relatives.
