He was predeceased by: his parents, John Piacitelli and Helen Piacitelli; his siblings, Mildred Kasparec, Florence Piacitelli, Adeline LeBar, Helen Jean Smith, Edward and Reverend Henry; and his daughter-in-law Sandy.
He is survived by: his wife Liane 'Lela'; his children, Gregory (Laurie), Mark (Laura), Paul (Leslie), Chris, John, Michael (Jill), Stephen (Dawn) and Denise VanAlstine (Aaron); his grandchildren, Alainna, Karlene, Lisa, Andrew, Benjamin, Daniel, Enzo, Samuel and Alexis; his stepgrandchildren, Amanda and Andrew; and his sister Nora Dalpiaz. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in honor of John can be made to the American Heart, American Lung, or Alzheimer Society of Washington.
