He was predeceased by: his brother Theodore (Ted); and his grandmother Freida Dent. He is survived by: his parents, Marian Dent-Hoglund and Lee Dent; his wife Lolly; his sons, Joseph Dent (Ashley) and Parker Dent (Sulamita); his grandson Cameron Russell (Kim Nielsen); his great grandchildren, Austin and Tanner Nielsen; and his sister Michelle "Shelly" Dent. He is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews that he loved like they were his own kids.
