He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Benoit and Marguerite V. Benoit (Hume); and his siblings, Billie, Bob Benoit, Sharon Medica and Bertie Woolman.

He is survived by: his former spouse Jackie Shumate; his wife Debbie Murren (Landin); his daughters, Brandi Pattison (Derek), Lindsey Benoit and Kelsey Hodge (Brenton); his grandchildren, Sayler, Silas Pattison and Bruno; his brother Hodge; his stepchildren, Matt Murren and Raissa Schneider (Andy); his stepgrandchildren, Austin, Grayson Murren, Madeline and Kaitlyn Schneider; his daughter Andrea Murren; and his siblings, Ken Benoit and Cindy Lu Kacher.
