He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth Marklin of Seattle, WA; his siblings, Patricia Marklin-Freeman and Mitchell Marklin of North Port, FL; his nephews, Mark Freeman of Sunnyvale, CA and Erik Freeman of Portsmouth; and his niece Amanda Freeman of King.
In commemoration of George's passing, donations can be made to the University of Washington's Aeronautics & Astronautics Department in loving memory of Dr. George J. Marklin.
