Mary Anita Pontious Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2020, at the age of 95, Mary Anita Pontious (Lacey, Washington) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome Trenton Chamberlin and Esther Chamberlin (Dobbins); her former husband Raymond Franklin Pontious; and her sister Elaine Ball (Chamberlin). She is survived by: her husband Ray; her daughters, Teri Poff (Pontious) of Seattle and Susan Pontious of Oakland, California; her grandchildren, Shannon Shively (Poff) of Seattle, Kelly Wesley (Poff) of Olympia, Colin Poff of Seattle, Skylar Saltz of New York and Morgan Saltz of Oakland; and her great grandchildren, Fox, Fern Wesley and Emmett Shively.

Due to the Coronavirus Shelter-in-Place directives, a celebration of Peggy's life will be postponed until a later date.
