She was predeceased by: her parents, Ingolf Birkeland and Elizabeth Birkeland (Flagler); and her husband Jim. She is survived by: her siblings, Francis, Helen, Margaret, Phyllis and Thomas; her sons, Jay (Jodi), Tom (Phyllis) and Jack (René); and her sister Beverly Carlson of Polson, MT.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
