“I don’t have one bad thing I could say about Zane. He was one of the only straight male friends in my life that I trusted with all my heart. He was so incredibly respectful, kind, intelligent, curious and non-judgemental. He was one of the most open-minded people I have ever known and could make friends with anyone no matter how different. He and I were in a band together 12 years ago and had the time of our lives. I feel a horrid emptiness without him and hope that there’ll be a funeral.”
