She was predeceased by: her mother Yvonne Valdez; and her brother Scott Tait. She is survived by: her parent Refugio Valdez; her husband John Wong; her children, Tylor Valdez of Kent, Zachary Valdez of Colorado Springs, Shayla Mejicanos-Valdez of Des Moines and Jade Valdez of Tukwila; her grandchildren, Rigoberto, Isaac, Akeem, Tylor and Sophia; and her siblings, Melody Teel, Mark Herring and Michelle Valdez.
