He is survived by: his wife Elaine Wierman; his children, Eric Campbell (Denise), Monica Lewis (Joey), Nicole Flateboe (Jason) and Gavin Campbell; and his sister Louise Acton. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, and to honor his legacy of enjoying the outdoors, donations can be made to Washington Trails Association at wta.org.
