In loving memory of Richard L. Shane in Kirkland, Washington, born in Seattle, Washington, who departed this world on February 19, 2025 at the age of 70. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Shane and Barbara L. Shane Vandervlugt. He is survived by: his wife Irene Retel; his stepchildren, Deseray Reiger (Lane), Jarvis Retel (Katharine) and Brenden Retel (Kriselda); his granddaughters, Ava, Eden, Mya Reiger, Alice and Ruby Retel; his siblings, Karen Somerville (John), Connie Grant (Dave), Mike Shane (Wendy) and Diane Ashby (Dave); and his stepfather Jim Vandervlugt. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews and ten great-nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kenmore Community Church (7504 NE Bothell Way, Kenmore, WA 98028).
