He is survived by: his wife Clair Marie Kessel; his sisters, Beatrice and Jane; and his children, Claire, Nancy, Elizabeth (Steve), Peggy (Mark), Nick (Theresa), Mike (Susan), Dan (Renata) and Marianne (Dan). He is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 60 great-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM and on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holyrood Cemetery (205 NE 205th St, Shoreline, WA 98155).
