He was predeceased by: his parents, Margery Lamonica, (Swift) and Joseph P. Lamonica, Sr.; his sister Mary Nation; and his daughter-in-law Jennifer Lamonica. He is survived by: his former wife Mary Kay Lamonica (Frantz); his children, Joseph P. Lamonica III, Michael P. Lamonica (Amy) and Anna M. (Verlondon Harris); his grandchildren, Anthony, Nicky, Nina, Alex and Christopher; and his siblings, Kathleen Krochock, John Lamonica (Cathy), Thomas Lamonica (Claire) and James Lamonica (Mary Jean).
